I tried to install the Microsoft downloads for two items and
had the following problems:
1. When trying to install the Windows debugging tools download for
x64 native processor I got a message these tools not supported
on my system.
I'm running AMD Turion64 processor, am I out of luck for this
download or is there a fix ??
2.Also when trying to install another download (userdump.exe) I got
"system error 193, text description is not available" ? What does
this mean ?

What operating system are you running? The short summary is that a
64-bit CPU needs a 64-bit OS in order to run 64-bit apps. If you're
running Win2000, XP Home, XP Pro, or Vista 32-bit, then you need to
download the 32-bit version of the Windows Debugging tools. Only if
you have XP 64bit edition, Vista 64 bit, or a select few other OSs
(with 64-bit in the name, usually) can you run 64-bit software.

For what it's worth, I've got 3 computers at home that have CPUs
capable of running 64 bit software, but I've still got Win XP Home/Pro
on them, so they only run 32 bit stuff. There's still just a little
too much incompatability, especially with drivers, on the 64-bit
front. Maybe in a year or few more.

Thanks for the reply, however I was confused by the quote (shown below) at the Microsoft
download site that states:
[ Note: The native 32-bit package is the best choice for most individuals. If you have a system with a
64-bit processor and you are debugging an application on it, then you must use one of the native
64-bit packages.]
Now to me the above says that if "I have a system with a 64bit processor" (which I do) "and I am
debugging an application on it" (which I am) "then you must use one of the native 64bit packages."
But from what you are telling me, the above should be saying that if "I have a 64bit Operating
System then ........
Either I'm confused or the microsoft download instructions are ambiguous.

Actually, the Microsoft download instructions are just wrong, if you've
quoted them correctly. Not everyone at MS is completely up-to-speed in
all the tricky aspects of their stuff.
